The Ohio Presbytery exists for the purpose of zealously preaching Christ crucified and engaging in the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the northern Ohio region.

As such we make it our aim to function as…

  • A community:  As a connectional church we believe in the importance of the communion of the saints.  We believe that God has called us to care for one another through worship, fellowship and accountability.
   
  • A court:  As a church that values truth and righteousness we believe in the importance of accountability and proper pastoral oversight.  While this presbytery allows each church within it the freedom to function in accord with the Scriptures of Jesus Christ, churches may appeal to this presbytery for advice and ecclesiastical adjudication.
   
  • A mission:  As a church that holds dear the precious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ we believe that we must advance the kingdom of Christ in our region and throughout the world.  We are therefore dedicated to church planting, church revitalization, campus & prison ministry, and mercy ministry.
